As of last Saturday, I've been blogging for twelve exciting months. I know I am not alone when I say it's been an experience like I had never imagined. A lotta love, a wee bit of exhaustion, tossed in with a smidgen of frustration. You all know (heck I think even the trash collector's heard my wailing) that life's journey over the year has been..well, let's just say it's been. You lovely people have brought me to tears, laugh until it hurts, dream the dream, and have blown my socks off (although too hot in Houston to wear any) in the creativity that you all produce on any given day. It's goes with saying one last time (although I'm not as cute as Tom Cruise); "You complete me".

This is a very small snippet of your words that have got me out of my bathrobe & on with life ~ (and if you saw my bathrobe, you'd be shocked why I ever put it on).

• Deb, I feel like I've known you for years. You do stunning work. I know you've already received the Award before, but, I'm nominating you again, because, well... you deserve it.

• I know nothing that I say will make this feel any better. Sometimes life just hands you turds and a job loss is a major steamer. (in regards to the husbands job loss)

• I'm so sad to hear of your mum's illness. I will be thinking of you both, and your family and wishing you comfort and some happy moments during these days ahead. Life quite sucks at times!!I hope a little laughter heads your way.

• You are a such a dear person and I really hope things get settled down for you soon. As for your Mom, I'm keeping you all and her in my prayers. My little blips on the radar pale in comparison. You do what you need to do to take care of you, we'll still be here. Hugs!

• I think you really nailed many of these women's styles while still managing to push the envelope a bit! Great job, Deb! And no worries about the lack of posts -- real life is always more important (and my thoughts are with your mum!).
