Go n-éirí on bóthar leat (May the Road Rise with You)

Today is a day to be of few words, hence it's St. Patrick's Day. It's a day, whether Irish or not, to take in the culture and have fun. I take one last chance to highlight the beauty and colorful way of life of the Irish people. All this week, NBC's "The Today Show" is live from Ireland. It was mentioned this morning that Continental Airlines is offering flights to Ireland for $222.00/round-trip, now through April. So, if you have some reserves in your savings account, what a better place to spend your green, than the Emerald Ise?

I am off to the pub now, but I leave you with this ole' Irish phrase:

PHRASE: De reir a cheile a thogtar na caisleain!
PRONOUNCED: deh rare ah kay-lee a hug-tar nah cosh-lawn
MEANING: It takes time to build castles!

My very first Irish bartender in Dublin - Paddy. He served a mean Hot Toddy. I hope he's still pulling that tap today!

My favorite pub in Limerick

Please don't drink & drive
