Blogging Auction to Benefit Visual Vamp - Valorie Hart

Valorie and Alberto

Laura Ingalls Gunn had a brilliant idea, which is nothing new for this talented Arizona designer. This time however Laura has stepped up to help our friend and fellow blogger - Valorie (*Visual* Vamp*) Hart. If I were in need, I would want someone just like Laura to answer my call.

From my previous post I shared the news that Valorie's beloved Alberto was struck down with a massive heart attack as they entered through customs in the Calgary airport the end of October. As of Tues. Nov. 3rd, Alberto was resting on the recovery ward. Valorie reported that he is able to fly-home, with a medical escort.

They need our help to get Alberto (and Valorie) home to New Orleans.

Laura is hosting her first online fund-raising event on her blog Decor to Adore.
Every participating blogger is donating an item and taking bids on that item starting today, Friday Nov. 5th through Sunday Nov. 14th at midnight central time. Please click here to discover all the links to all the treasures fellow bloggers are auctioning this weekend to raise money for our friend Valorie.

* Please leave bids by leaving a comment stating amount you are bidding. Don't forget to check back on Monday Nov.8th for the announcement of the winning bidder.

Up for auction, the book;

Simple Home by Mark and Sally Bailey

the book is full of beautiful images by Debi Treloar,
perfectly calming & serene, just what we need right now.
there are some lovely pictures of Parma Lilac, the stunning house and showroom of Jamie Jackson
. Simple Home is published by Ryland Peters and Small

 you can click here for the book details and an interview with Mark and Sally Bailey. Have a peek inside the book here.

* All monies for the online auction will be directly donated to Valorie and Alberto's paypal account boutique@planet-tango.com.
This book is new.  Dumbwit tellher pays for shipping.

 I thank you now for reading, commenting and most of all, caring. We are a community of people that have compassion, it makes me proud.

Now..go bid and have fun.

{go forth and shop responsibly}
put your money where it counts
