Rachel Zoe vs Dumbwit Tellher

Rachel Zoe from Bravo's the 'Rachel Zoe Project'

The dumbwit tellher project, Rachel Zoe style. Yes, it's true, I want to be uber hip, ultra annoying, scary skinny, stylist to the stars; Rachel Zoe for a day.

"Oh my god", "I die", "You look bananas", and "You are shutting it down", will be my catch - phrases for twentyfour flippin' long hours, or until I get the job done. However, I call it quit's if I am sequestered to honor any marital obligations (if you get my drift) towards her equally annoying husband, 'Randy' Rodger.

Watch and learn Ms. Rachel ~

p.s. - Dear Rachel, one teeny weeny request. Please, I beg you, loose the beret/cap/chapeau, (whatever) in the next taxi. And while I'm at it, your fake heart-attack in episode #7, while in Paris for fashion week was, well.."le magnifique". Oscar worthy really.

** I want to apologize for my lack of postings recently. My mother is terminally ill; combine that with a new job, computer issues (can anyone hate 'Vista' more than me?) & houseguests for a total of 5.5 weeks, it's taken it's toll. I appreciate your sticking in there with me. I value you all tremendously. Xxx

I think you really nailed many of these women's styles while still managing to push the envelope a bit! Great job, Deb!

And no worries about the lack of posts -- real life is always more important (and my thoughts are with your mum!). Btw, might I suggest trading up to a Mac for Xmas? :) It really has saved me a lot of heartache in the blogging department the last few months (I got one for my anniversary).

First of all you did a great job styling these lovely ladies - LOVE all of them!!! I DIE!! Second, thank you so much for your kind comment, sounds like this year has hit you hard too and I hate that. You are a such a dear person and I really hope things get settled down for you soon. As for your Mom, I'm keeping you all and her in my prayers. My little blips on the radar pale in comparison. You do what you need to do to take care of you, we'll still be here. Hugs! Jenny

Great choices you do JUST as good a job as scary Rachel Zoe (and I see she has toned down the orangey fake tan). I love love all the combinations and all women esp naughty naughty Carla Bruni. xoxo

Hi Deb, first of all my heart goes out to you and your family and my prayers are with you and your mother. I'm having a lot of problems with my computer and am seriously thinking about a Mac, my sons love theirs and have no problems ever!!

Your post is beyond fabulous, Rachel is quite a character but you blow her away darling!!! If I could have any one of the dresses I think I would pick the 1958 Dior, now if my 44 year old memory is correct, did Dior pass away in 1954?? and if so would YSL have designed that dress??? I am probably off by a decade here??? Anyway gorgeous, gorgeous gorgeous

Moi encore, I just googled it and he passed away in 1957 according to what I just read, so it is very possible YSL designed that dress, this just fascinates me!!

We have had 4 house guests and a dog (in heat) for weeks (make that MONTHS) on end, too. Since June actually.
They are gone, and the house is FINALLY quiet!
I feel ya!

Does family count as house guests?
At least one of them could cook well!! :)

Cute post, btw!

Through thick and thin babe.

What an epic post, made me laugh and drool just a bit. Brad in a hot tub, yes please.

We have not had the pleasure of seeing Rachel's show, though have heard all about her antic's from my blog pals. Sounds mighty annoying.

re comment .. Wouldn't be calling you silly while your dishing out complements lil' lady.
Hope next year is minus the crap.

Oh, Deb, I'l sorry you're having such a tough time and I'm very sorry about your mother. There's definitely no need to apologize. Real life must always have priority. But wow, you have outdone yourself with this post! You could outstyle RZ any day! I die over all of these fab vintage looks. (Yes, that's my favorite Zoe-ism. As much as I try not to use it, I can't help it.)

I have given you an "award" go to my blog to check it out. And thank you for your kind words, you are the best blog friend a girl could ask for! Again, I'm sending much positivity your way. I'm so sorry that you are having to go through all of this. Hugs!!

It's a good thing we don't get the Rachel Zoe project over here (and that I haven't bothered trying to get a taped version), because I'm sure I'd be addicted but the same time poke my eyes out everytime she acts up. Anyhow... I adore all the dresses you picked. Nothing beats vintage. Not even designer gear has the quality it used to have and the detailing is incredible.

Sorry to hear about your mother by the way. That must be tough, especially combined with the long-term houseguests. How do you do it??

But I must also add that this post was fabulous, darling! I loved all the looks - except for three ladies I love to hate: Kiera, Angelina and Natalie - though they do have style, I'll give them that.

Hope things improve for you soon! Best of luck with your new job!!
