Faces of France

Those two faces of summer -
Lance Armstrong and the sunflowers of the French countryside.
What looks more spectacular - Lance in his sultry Oakley shades or those warm yellow flowers pointed towards the sun? I'll let you give me your 10¢ worth!
I know what, I wish I were in France to see them both live & large.

Hi Deb, just ignore Jacqueline she thinks the Brits are going to win!! ha ha . Bless you for posting these imagage. I watched stage 11 and would you believe my TV has lost it's colour!! All the sunflowers were sort of muddy brown pink. In fact I didn't even realise they were sunflowers!!! My TV has no green and everything, even France is in a drought!! Looks like I will be shopping!! PS Lance isn't bad either. Ciao Julie

Row after row of sunflowers on lovely rolling hills -- yes, please![Though Lance isn't half bad himself -- and I love the shades.]

Happy weekend, Deb!

the sunflowers are unreal !
i can't imagine how beautiful it was to be rolling past them.
i'd be looking at the sunflowers and would end up crashing.
