Sweetness Comes to Light

Hey, what can I say, I'm a mom. When the doorbell rang last Saturday morning, I scurried carefully to the door, making sure absolutely no one spied me in my lovely "jammie's" (I'm wanting to keep that glamorous life in which I live a secret).

I saw the FedEx truck pulling away and chalked up the delivery to another parcel of spare bicycle parts for my cycling crazed husband. Low and behold the package was for me. I spared no caution and ripped the small package open to find these absolutely fabulous, colorful, happy, coasters. I immediately laughed; you see I believe I have raised four incredibly funny, personable, talented, and kind human beings. My eldest daughter Kate, captured their personalities and was terribly thoughtful to send me this wonderful reminder of each & every one of them, for Mother's Day.

Thank you Kate from the bottom of my heart. You are the best! Now tell me dear, "How do I put a beverage on those sweet faces?"

Hi - love your blog! Thanks so much for stopping by Sanity Fair!
Those coasters are killer - no I don't think I could set drinks on them either. But what great conversation starters - sit them out when you have guests - they'll be a perfect opportunity to talk about your great kids :)

THANK YOU MOM FOR BEING MY MOM!!!! Wish I could have been there to see you hide out from the Fedex person and open your gift. You do SO much for us, I wish there was more we could do for you. But thank you for writing up a blog and featuring the coasters. I feel like I'm famous. How'd you'd get them to look so good by the way? Scan them??

LOVE YOU and thanks again!! HAPPY MOM'S DAY!

My husband and I did those coasters for my mother in law. We chose equally fun shots and know she loved them too! What a fun present, isn't it!?
